​Top-selling scooters in India: Honda Activa occupies top spot as these models follow

​Honda Activa recorded a remarkable sales figure of 1,95,604 units in July 2024. This marks a significant 44.54% YoY growth compared to 1,35,327 units sold during the same period last year. ​

TVS Jupiter

TVS Jupiter scooter sold 74,663 units in July 2024. The Jupiter brand saw a healthy YoY growth of 12.38%, improving from 66,439 units sold in July 2023. The scooter continues to be a strong performer in the Indian market and recently updated the 110cc version.

Suzuki Access

The Suzuki Access closely followed the TVS Jupiter, achieving sales of 71,247 units in July 2024. Unlike the Activa and Jupiter, which have 110cc and 125cc variants, the Access is powered by a sole 125cc engine. It registered a 38% YoY growth, a leap from 51,678 units sold in July 2023.

Ola S1

​Ola Electric's S1 scooter achieved one of the highest growth rates among Indian scooters, with sales soaring by 114.49% YoY. The S1 recorded sales of 41,624 units in July 2024, a significant rise from 19,406 units sold in July 2023. ​

Honda Dio

Honda's Dio scooter sold 33,447 units in July 2024, which includes both the 110cc and 125cc models. The Dio 110 recorded sales of 18,055 units, reflecting a 12% decline from the 20,414 units sold in July 2023. In contrast, the Dio 125 model performed better, selling 15,417 units in July 2024.

The TVS Ntorq scooter maintained its appeal in the market by selling 26,829 units in July 2024. This figure represents a modest 4% YoY growth compared to 25,839 units sold in July 2023.
