KALYAN: A man from Dombivli,
Sanjay Yadav, found himself embroiled in an ordeal while in a conversation with his companion on a privately owned property. The land owner, Milind Thackeray, was enraged on witnessing the youth's presence on his premises, which led to a dispute, and ran his vehicle over Yadav, dragging him along for a considerable distance. Yadav sustained severe injuries, leaving him in a serious condition.
In this connection, the Manpada police have registered an offence against Thackeray who is on the run.
According to the police, Yadav, who works as a medical representative, is a resident of Dombivli. The incident took place on Saturday at 9.30 pm when Yadav was talking to his friend at a place near the Shiv Mandir, seeing which Thackeray came to him and said that this property is his private and not to stand there.
After this, Thackeray and Yadav had an argument, resulting in Yadav leaving from there with his friends.
However, according to the police, an angry Thackeray chased Yadav on the road in his car and later forcibly ran over him and dragged him some distance. Yadav has suffered serious injuries and is undergoing treatment in the hospital.
A case of attempted murder has been registered.
