Apple clocked up to 25% higher sales of the iPhone 16 models on launch day compared with that of the iPhone 15 last year, with quick commerce platforms also getting into the act. Market tracker Counterpoint Research said based on early estimates, Day 1 sales of the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus were 20% higher than last year, while they were about 25% higher for the Pro models.
