​Indian Air Force conducts dress rehearsal in Prayagraj

Indian air force (IAF) conducted a full dress rehearsal of the Air Force Day Parade and the aerial display in Prayagraj ahead of its 91st anniversary celebration.

IAF to celebrate 91st-anniversary Celebration on October 8

A ceremonial parade will be held on Air Force Day, to be followed by an aerial display over the Sangam in the afternoon.

​120 fighters, aircraft to participate in air display

Group captain Prajyot said, "120 fighters, transport aircraft and helicopters operated from 10 airbases will feature in the air display in the Sangam area of Prayagraj on October 8."

​History of Air Force Day

Air Force Day marks the official induction of the Indian Air Force (IAF) into the country's armed forces in 1932. Every year, the day is celebrated in the presence of the Indian Air Force chief and senior officers.
