The grand structure

The four-story, triangular-shaped building spans 64,500 square meters with 3 main gates: Gyan Dwar, Shakti Dwar, and Karma Dwar, featuring distinct entrances for VIPs, MPs, and visitors.​

​Materials for the Ashoka Emblem came from Aurangabad and Jaipur, and the Ashok Chakra for the Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha chambers, and the parliament building's exteriors were sourced from Indore.​

Focus on energy efficiency

The new Parliament building places significant emphasis on energy efficiency in its lighting, with the structure expected to use less than 50% less power than the conventional systems.​
