It is home to Pawalgarh Conservation Reserve, which is home to tigers, elephants, leopards, leopard cats, a number of mammals and close to 400 species of birds! It is also close to the more famous Corbett National Park, which sees travellers from all over the world.

Almora is a largely offbeat getaway near Delhi and is set in the high Himalayas of Uttarakhand.
