Former US President Donald Trump on Monday visited a grocery store during his campaign in Pennsylvania. During his interaction with customers, he promised to lower grocery prices if elected.
In a video captured during the visit, Trump can be seen giving away a local mother of three $100 for her groceries, promising that prices would fall under his leadership, saying, “We’ll take care of that for you from the White House.” His visit preceded a rally in Indiana, Pennsylvania, where he focused on tackling inflation and supporting local businesses.

The video from Trump's campaign shows him giving the money to a woman at Sprankle’s Neighborhood Market in Kittanning, Pennsylvania. As he handed the woman the bill, Trump said, “Here, it’s gonna go down a little. It just went down 100 bucks.”

The woman, after laughing with others, responded, “Thank you so much.” Trump added, “We’ll do that for you from the White House, alright?” and praised her children with, “Beautiful.” He then asked if they were her kids, saying, “Perfecto.”
Trump has stated his intention to address inflation and reduce costs for essentials like groceries and gas if elected in November.
He visited the local store and purchased a large bag of popcorn before his rally in Indiana, Pennslyvania, scheduled for later that day. "Oh, look, I gotta get some. We gotta get it," Trump smiles while passing the large bag to his team.

"My mom just got a bag of that actually," a customer told the Republican candidate. Trump then asked him if the stuff was good, to which he replied, "She says it's the best".
"Is that the best? If it is, I'll be sending, I'll be in Washington DC, hopefully in the Oval Office, I'll send for popcorn", Trump responded.
Trump also spoke with the owner of the grocery store who explained how inflation was affecting his business.
A large crowd gathered outside Sprankles Neighborhood Market in Kittanning, where Trump met with customers.

Additionally, Trump held a town hall with local farmers in Smithton, Pennsylvania, earlier on Monday. His focus was on areas near Pittsburgh in this key battleground state.
