Sahitya Utsav Jashn-e-Adab Cultural Caravan Virasat, one of the most prominent cultural events celebrating Indian art, culture and literature, was held in Jaipur. Organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture (Government of India), Ministry of Tourism (Government of India) and Jawahar Kala Kendra, this cultural fes tival saw eminent Indian artists from different parts of the country performing brilliantly.
The two-day event at Jawahar Kala Kendra mesmerised the audience with its outstanding performances. Day one saw Sabri Brothers enthralled the audience with their captivating performance of Qawwali. The inaugural ceremony attended by eminent personalities like Vidya Shah, Pt. Sajan Mishra, Hussain Brothers, and Dr. Yash Gulati.

Day two of the event saw a variety of performances and activities on the stage. It began with Yusuf Khan's captivating performance on the Bhapang. After this, a special play based on Indian art, culture and literature was organised. A panel discussion highlighting the rich poetic tradition of the region was conducted by Anjum Sharma, Manu Rishi Chadha and Faizal Malik. This was followed by Kavi Sammelan witnessing poets like Ashok Chakradhar, Wasim Barelvi, Surendra Sharma and other dignitaries. In the evening, Vidha Lal graced the event with her performance on Kathak.
Kunwar Ranjit Chauhan, poet and founder of the fest said, “Thousands of spectators and literature lovers have witnessed the successful journey of Sahitya Utsav Jashn-e-Adab Cultural Caravan Heritage from Hyderabad to the state of Jaipur. Through this event, more and more people got a chance to connect with the rich stream of Indian art, culture and literature. After a grand success in many states, we are glad to bring this event to the culturally rich city of Jaipur. Accomplished, renowned and respected artists graced the stage with their amazing performances. Through this event, our aim was to connect the Indian youth with the vibrancy of our Indian art, culture and literature and provide them access to meaningful art."
