In a dramatic turn of events, rapper Badshah took a bold step to mend his fractured relationship with Yo Yo Honey Singh at a recent event in Dehradun. Despite this gesture, Honey Singh later revealed in an interview that he has no intentions of working with Badshah again. Reflecting on the situation, Badshah admitted that he had been weighed down by external negativity and realized it was time to move on and release the baggage.
During a chat on the YouTube channel Prakhar ke Pravachan, Badshah reflected on his decision to move beyond his feud with Honey Singh.He revealed that the issue was deeply personal and rooted in unresolved feelings from over a decade ago. Badshah admitted that carrying this old grudge had become a mental burden. He saw the moment as a chance to liberate himself from past distractions and grudges, viewing it as an opportunity for mental redemption and relief.

Badshah elaborated that he typically doesn’t hold grudges, which made it puzzling why this particular issue lingered. He speculated that external influences and subconscious factors might have prolonged the feud without any real effort to resolve it. For him, letting go was about achieving mental peace and focusing on his broader artistic vision. He acknowledged that while subliminal shots are common in the industry, giving them excessive importance isn’t productive.

Badshah added that although the feud initially fueled his drive, he eventually saw it as a harmful force, like a tumor, impacting both his present and future. He’s moved beyond its psychological effects and resolved not to let it affect his actions. In his heart and mind, he has chosen to leave the feud in the past.
