In its fifth weekend, the film minted Rs 15.5 crore, and crashed on Monday to collect just Rs 3 crore which was a 55 % drop from its Sunday collection, taking the 33 day of the film to Rs 557.85 crore, but on day 34 the film did the unthinkable. At this point, a little fatigue has entered in the journey of the film, as most of the audiences have already seen the film and they are also looking for something new and different. With Devara starring NTR Jr, Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor releasing this week which will be followed by
Alia Bhatt’s Jigra and Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri’s Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video on Dussehra, the dream run for Stree 2 will face some resistance .
Stree 2 also features Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurrana, and Pankaj Tripathi, with special appearances by Varun Dhawan, Akshay Kumar, and Tamannaah Bhatia. The makers are considering a spin-off focused on Shraddha Kapoor’s character, exploring the backstory of Stree.
