Sony India has launched its latest flagship television series, the Bravia 9, featuring Mini LED technology and advanced AI processing. The new TVs, available in 75-inch and 85-inch models, aims to deliver an unparalleled cinematic experience with exceptional brightness, contrast, and colour accuracy. Powered by Sony's advanced AI Processor XR, the Bravia 9 series optimises picture quality for ultimate realism.
The televisions incorporate XR Backlight Master Drive technology, allowing precise control of thousands of LEDs to achieve deep blacks and vivid colours. High Peak Luminance ensures detailed imagery even in bright daylight conditions. With 4K resolution offering four times more pixels than HD, the Bravia 9 series promises a clearer, more detailed picture quality.
Key features of the new series include XR Contrast Booster 30 for enhanced depth and detail, and XR Triluminos Pro technology for accurate colour reproduction. The TVs support Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, and come with IMAX Enhanced certification. They run on Google TV, providing access to over 400,000 movies and TV episodes.
Gaming enthusiasts will appreciate the series' optimization for PlayStation 5, including features like Auto HDR Tone Mapping and Auto Game Mode. The built-in Bravia CAM enables gesture controls and video calling, adding a new dimension to user interaction.
Sony has also emphasised sustainability in the Bravia 9 series, aligning with the company's "Road to Zero" environmental plan. The TVs use optimised power consumption and include an Eco Dashboard for energy management.
The 75-inch model (75XR90) is priced at Rs 4,49,990, while the 85-inch model (85XR90) costs Rs 5,99,990. Both are available now at Sony Centers, major electronic stores, and e-commerce platforms across India.
