Exclusive- Saurabh Gumber reveals joining a new show during Ganeshotsav says, "I consider it as Bappa's small gift and believe he has great plans for me ahead"

Actor Saurabh Gumber who previously essayed the role of Raunak in the TV show Kuch Reet Jagat Ki Aisi Hai, joins another social drama, Dahej Daasi.
The show is set against the enchanting backdrop of the fictitious village Madhopur in Rajasthan, the show promises to immerse audiences in a heart-wrenching yet inspiring narrative of a young woman's struggle against the oppressive tradition of being a Dahej dasi.The narrative follows the journey of Chunari, portrayed by the talented Jahnavi Soni, a 19-year-old innocent girl with dreams of marriage and a happy family. However, she becomes entangled in the chains of deceit, finding herself on the path to becoming a Dahej dasi. It also features Sayantani Ghosh who plays the negative lead Vindhya Devi.
He said, "I'm happy to join the cast of this show. Coincidentally, my last show also aimed to create awareness against the dowry culture and this one too follows the same concept. However, this show highlights more serious issues that many women in our society suffer. I'm playing a negative role. It will be a cameo but till the time I'm in the show, my role has great significance and screen presence. As an actor, I'm happy to get this role. I consider it as Bappa's small gift and believe he has great plans for me ahead."
Saurabh also shared that he enjoys Ganesh festivities and makes sure to be in Mumbai during this time.
He continued, "I shifted to Mumbai 6 years back from Haryana. And since then I'm loving the city and especially during Ganpati festivities I make sure to be here. My friends brought Bappa home, so I joined them at the celebration. It gives me immense pleasure and peace. I wish the almighty help me to achieve success and live a happy and healthy life. I wish the same for everyone."

Saurabh has also acted in shows like Maharaj Ki Jai Ho, Mahashakti, and Gathbandhan, Kumkum Bhagya among others.
