JD Vance vs Tim Walz: Trump and Harris' running mates to debate — When and where to watch
Just few weeks ahead of US Presidential election, Republican Senator JD Vance of Ohio and Democratic Governoe Tim Walz of Minnesota are going to set the stage for their very first debates.
The CBS News will host the debate in New York City.
When and Where to watch debate?
The debate is expected to take place on October 1, 2024 as CBS News sent out the invitations to the vice president candidates.
The CBS also suggested some dates like September 17, 24, October 1 and 8.

Responding to the post, Walz said, "See you on October 1 JD."

Though the exact broadcast time has not yet been announced, viewers are anticipating a heated exchange between the two candidates, who will be meeting head-to-head for the first and possibly only time before Election Day.
Vance also agreed to that date but for another date on September 18 that CNN offered to host, though the Minnesota governor did not respinded.

Moderators
CBS News anchor Norah O'Donnell and chief foreign affairs correspondent Margaret Brennan will moderate the debate, guiding the discussion between Walz and Vance on key issues impacting the country.
Key Election Dates
The 2024 presidential election is rapidly approaching, and early voting is set to commence in the coming weeks. Pennsylvania will be the first state to open its polls on September 16, allowing voters to cast their ballots ahead of the official Election Day. On Tuesday, November 5, citizens across the nation will head to their designated polling locations to "decide the next president and vice president of the United States."
