In a recent video promoting her upcoming memoir, "Melania," former First Lady
Melania Trump took aim at the Biden administration, highlighting the perceived impact of the 2020 election on the nation’s cost of living and geopolitical landscape. Without naming President Biden directly, Trump argued that the current state of the country has deteriorated since her husband, former President
Donald Trump, left office.
“The 2020 election results changed our lives forever,” Melania Trump said in the video. “It impacted our quality of life, cost of food, gasoline, safety, and even the geopolitical landscape.” She emphasized the challenges of inflation and global conflicts, including the ongoing wars between Russia and Ukraine and between Israel and Hamas.
Trump also voiced concerns about free speech in the US, referencing recent legal battles involving her husband. Donald Trump, who was convicted on 34 felony counts in June and is facing additional legal restrictions, has been subject to a gag order and fines for violating court rules. Despite being allowed back on social media, his online presence remains controversial.
Melania Trump, 54, positioned her book as a response to what she describes as widespread misrepresentation. “As a private person who has often been the subject of public scrutiny and misrepresentation, I feel a responsibility to clarify the facts,” she stated. Her memoir is available for preorder at $40 and is set for release on October 8.
Donald Trump is gearing up for his third presidential bid, facing Vice President
