KOCHI: Complainant in a sexual assault case against actor
Nivin Pauly and five others expressed concerns on Saturday over a potential sabotage of the probe, while criticising media for focusing on date discrepancies. Nivin filed a counter-complaint Friday, alleging conspiracy. The actor claimed he was in
Kerala filming a movie during the period when the alleged crime took place in Dubai.
The woman said she didn't reveal the alleged crime's exact date, explaining the date she earlier mentioned was given accidentally while she was sleep-deprived. "I've given evidence about the exact date today," she said referencing her statement to SIT handling the case.
The complainant said she submitted her passport, so has Nivin, and checking these documents would clarify the situation. "If he has given his passport, let them investigate and find the details," she said.
