75,000 stories made Write India the biggest writing movement ever.

The winners of both Season 1 and Season 2 are now published authors in the book Write India Stories. The book is a compilation of the top winning stories and can be bought from Amazon and Flipkart.

Season 3 was bigger and better with authors like Salman Rushdie, Amitav Ghosh, Gulzar, Clare Mackintosh, Nayantara Sahgal, Amish among others bringing in a variety of genres.

India's largest-ever crowd-sourced short story contest will soon be back with Season 4.

  • Season 2 concluded with a grand finale at the Times LitFest Delhi on December 2, 2018.
  • People from all walks of life participated and they wrote for all genres.
  • Write India Season 1 & 2 received a whopping 45,000 entries!
  • The number of new participants in Season 2 was greater than the number of people who had already participated in Season 1. This means that we could encourage more number of people to write!
