Gambhir made his ODI debut in April 2003 against Bangladesh and got his Test cap against Australia in November 2004. He has impressive average of 50 plus and 40 plus in Test and ODI cricket respectively. Gambhir holds the record for being the only Indian to score five hundreds in five consecutive Test matches.
