BATHINDA: In a significant escalation of a long-standing feud, rival groups led by Lawrance Bishnoi and Jaggu Bhagwanpuria have separately claimed responsibility for the murder of Sukha Duneke in Winnipeg, Canada.
The conflict between the groups has spilled over to social media, with both factions asserting their involvement in Duneke's assassination.
Notably, both groups have alleged that Sandeep Nangal Ambian's killing was orchestrated by Sukha and have hinted at the possibility of more targeted attacks.
The backdrop to this ongoing feud includes the incident on February 26 when two associates of Bhagwanpuria were killed in Goindwal jail in Tarn Taran. These individuals were allegedly targeted by members affiliated with Lawrance Bishnoi's group, and all were incarcerated in connection with the Sidhu Moose Wala murder case.
Currently, both Lawrance and Bhagwanpuria are behind bars, facing charges related to the murder of rapper Sidhu Moose Wala, among numerous other cases. It is believed that members of their respective groups are operating their social media accounts.
In a social media post, Lawrance Bishnoi's faction claimed responsibility for Sukha Duneke's killing, asserting that he was addicted to heroin and responsible for multiple deaths, including those of Gurlal Brar, Vicky Middukhera, and Nangal Ambian. The post further warned that those still affiliated with Sukha, no matter where they are located, will eventually face consequences, even if it takes time.
On the other hand, Jaggu Bhagwanpuria's group posted on social media, taking responsibility for Sukha Duneke's murder. They cited avenging Nangal Ambian's killing, which they claim was carried out at Sukha's behest, as their motive. The group's post also issued a warning to individuals opposing their faction, cautioning them to be prepared for the possibility of death, as it could strike anywhere.
