12 dead after dumper truck falls on bus full of pilgrims
Bareilly: Twelve pilgrims, including three children and four women, were killed and at least nine were injured when a gravel-laden dumper truck crashed and overturned on a parked bus carrying about 50 people in Shahjahanpur on Saturday night.
The pilgrims were on their way to Purnagiri temple in Uttarakhand. The incident took place around 11pm when the bus was parked outside a roadside eatery on Gola state highway in Khuthar area.

All the victims belonged to Jatha village under Kamlapur police limits in Sindhauli tehsil of Sitapur district.
SSP (Shahjahanpur), Ashok Kumar Meena, said on Sunday, “Eleven people were killed on the spot and one died at Shahjahanpur medical college.”
