Man shoots wife twice due to ‘infertility’
Bareilly: A man, Mohd Rashid, allegedly attempted to murder his wife, shooting her twice, purportedly due to her inability to conceive in Sahaswan area of Budaun district on Saturday.
The victim, Sabina Begum (35), sustained critical injuries, with one bullet piercing her stomach and the other passing through her jaw, according to police.
The couple got married nearly five years ago.

The woman is undergoing treatment at government medical college in Budaun, said circle officer Karam Vir Singh. TNN
