5 injured in bus accident stay in critical condition
Cuttack/Kendrapada: Five persons injured in Monday evening’s bus accident in Jajpur district remain in critical condition in the ICU of SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.
The injured were among the 46 who were rushed to the casualty ward of SCB after a private bus fell 20 feet below from a overbridge at Barabati Chowk on Monday night.
The bus was going to West Bengal from Puri when the accident took place.

Five persons, including a woman, lost their lives in the accident.
“A total of 46 patients were rushed to the casualty ward of SCB. Five are being treated at the ICU as their condition is critical. A team of doctors are looking after them. Frequent monitoring is being done,” said Abinash Rout, registrar, SCB Medical College and Hospital.
