Knowing BETT Asia Summit of APAC region that offers Edtech solutions in learning

International organisations and countries have been coming together to convene discourses and discussions on the growth of the Edtech sector. The British Education Training & Technology(BETT) Asia Summit 2022 is also one of the region’s leading education technology conferences and expos that brings together various stakeholders of the field to contribute to the educational development of the Asia Pacific region.
The BETT Show has been conducted for the last 30 years in London, England. The BETT Asia summit covering the Asia pacific countries is being held however from 2014. The primary aim of BETT Asia is to prepare and equip educators from Asia Pacific with the right technological tools needed for the 21st-century education system.
The summit focuses on providing Edtech solutions with the following goals:

It aims to create an organic relationship between various countries so that they can globally share knowledge and ideas with the overarching goal of internationalising education practices and improving student outcomes
The mission of the summit is to ignite ideas, create connections and expedite trade, driving impact and enhancing outcomes for educators and learners
Every year senior education leaders, innovators, and education ministers gather at the summit and share their knowledge and intelligence for improving learning in the digital era
The countries showcase their Edtech expertise, tools, and services that can provide learning solutions in Asia
BETT Asia summit is supported by a dedicated offering of Ahead by Bett which is meant for the Higher Education community. It brings together many business and pedagogical challenges facing the sector

Agendas discussed and steps are taken in the earlier BETT Asia summits held in 2015 and 2022:

The second BETT Asia summit was held in Singapore in 2015 on the theme 'Transforming education – Where we are now and where we are heading
In the 2015 summit, the emerging global trends which can bring transformation in education and teaching were discussed
Besides higher education case studies, best practices were discussed in the practical and interactive workshops with the School Leaders Academy
Some of Singapore's most promising education technology projects, Ed-tech start-ups and key players in Ed-tech advancements were showcased
The BETT Asia summit 2022 was held from 11-12 October in Bangkok, Thailand. The theme of this summit was '‘Education as a catalyst for change
Here the best practices and innovations from across the education technology sector of the world were brought to light and discussed
The education and technology leaders and decision-makers of the world gathered to deliberate on ways to invest in education technology in the Southeast Asia region
Investment in this region can accelerate the process of transformation thus developing the next generations of leaders and global citizens
In this summit, the UK showcased Edtech solutions and equipment from its 12 companies and offered special support for Vietnam and Indonesia in its International education strategy
The BETT Asia summit discussed driving an evidence-based and purpose-built digital strategy beyond crisis response developed during a pandemic
Tom Poole, Director of BETT Asia said that the summit provided opportunities for the educationists to remain connected, sharpen their educational skills, expand their network, and exchange ideas about EdTech with their fellow participants

The BETT Asia summit 2023 will also be held in Bangkok, Thailand from October 18-19.
