Santhy Balachandran turns screenwriter for Kalyani Priyadarshan and Naslen starrer

Actress Santhy Balachandran, best known for her performances in ‘Jallikkattu’, ‘Paapam Cheyyathavar Kalleriyatte’, and ‘Sweet Kaaram Coffee’ is stepping into screenwriting. The young actress is crafting the additional screenplay for the upcoming Malayalam film featuring Kalyani Priyadarshan and Naslen in the lead roles.
The yet-to-be-titled film is bankrolled by Dulquer Salmaan, and the film was launched on Thursday, September 12.As the film went on floors, Santhy Balachandran announced the big news, and expressed her excitement on her screenwriting debut. In a note shared on Instagram, she wrote, “12.09.24: A debut that has been several years in the making — my first official screenwriting credit for a feature film. With all the ups and downs we have seen over the last four years, it felt surreal to be fully present in a moment that always felt like it belonged in the future… Captain and co-writer @dominic_arun, I guess we can finally say: The future is here. The future is now. (No pressure ).”
