Actress Keerthy Suresh got critically acclaimed for her role in the film 'Raghu Thatha' that was released in theatres on August 15. Clashing at the box office with Vikram's 'Thangalaan' and Arulnithi's 'Demonte Colony 2', the political comedy did not shine well in theatres and the makers have now announced the film's digital premiere.
The national streaming platform ZEE 5 announced that the Keerthy Suresh starrer will be out on September 13 on the OTT platform and it will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.

The film features Keerthy Suresh, Ravindra Vijay, MS Bhaskar, Devadarshini, Anandami among others. The film story revolves round the life of Kayal, a young girl who is against the stance of Hindi imposition.

Directed by Suman Kumar, the film marks his directorial debut and it also marks Hombale Films debut in Kollywood. Taking to social media after the film's release, the 'KGF' and 'Kantara' makers said that they consider the Keerthy Suresh starrer 'Raghu Thatha' in Tamil a success. On the work front, Keerthy Suresh is all set to make her debut in Bollywood alongside Varun Dhawan with the film 'Baby John' which is the official remake of 'Theri'. Produced by Atlee, Keerthy Suresh reprises the role of Samantha from the film . The actress also has 'Kannivedi' and 'Revolver Rita' in her project pipeline.
