NEW DELHI: Due to a groin injury sustained in Pakistan, Bangladesh pacer Shoriful Islam will miss this month's two-Test series in India, the nation's cricket board announced on Thursday.
After winning both of the Tests in Pakistan, Bangladesh is riding high after defeating their Asian rivals in a Test series for the first time.
The 23-year-old Shoriful, who took three wickets in the first Test in Rawalpindi, was injured and was unable to play in the second match.
