iPhone 16 to go on pre-order today: Pre-booking details, time, sale date and more

Apple launched four new iPhone 16 models: the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, at an event earlier this week. The latest iPhone 16 series arrived with multiple upgrades like the Camera capture button and Apple Intelligence support that will be available later this year. iPhone 16 models are set to be available for pre-order on the company's official online store later today (September 13).The launch prices of the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus in India remained similar to last year’s iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models. However, Apple launched the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max at a price which is Rs 15,000 less than the launch price of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models. Not just that, the company also announced price cuts for the older iPhone 15 and iPhone 14 models on its official website soon after launching the iPhone 16 lineup. Apple will start accepting pre-orders for the iPhone 16 models at 5:30 PM IST today (September 13). Customers can pre-book the iPhone 16 models from the official online Apple Store. Apple will start shipping the new iPhones on September 20 and will even hit the shelves of retail stores on the same date. Apart from this, the new iPhones will also be available on third-party online platforms like Flipkart, Amazon, Vijay Sales and more.

Apple lowered the prices of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 14 in India after the launch of the iPhone 16. The prices have been reduced in the range of Rs 10,000 to Rs 20,000.
The iPhone 15, which was launched last year, now starts at Rs 69,900 for the base 128GB model. The iPhone 15 Plus has been reduced by Rs 10,000 and is now available at Rs 79,900 for the 128GB variant.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 14, which is now two years old, has seen a bigger price cut from its launch price. The base 128GB model is now priced at Rs 59,900, down from Rs 69,900. This is a big reduction of Rs 20,000 from its launch price of Rs 79,900 in 2022.
