Mafia ran govt in Samajwadi Party rule while 'babua' slept: Yogi Adityanath
AYODHYA/LUCKNOW: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched a blistering attack at the previous Samajwadi Party govt, accusing it of sheltering dreaded criminals and mafia who used to run a "parallel govt" while unleashing "anarchy" in the state even as "babua" - an apparent reference to SP chief Akhilesh Yadav - "slept in his home".
Addressing a rally in the bypoll-bound Milkipur assembly seat of Ayodhya after laying the foundation stone and inaugurating developmental projects worth over Rs 1,000 crore, Yogi said hardened criminals of every district in the state used to be an "office-bearer" of SP.
