The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the CSIR UGC NET 2024 results on September 12, 2024. Candidates who participated in the Joint CSIR UGC NET exam can now view and download their scorecards from the official website, csirnet.nta.ac.in. In addition, result-related information can also be found on the NTA website at nta.ac.in.

How to check CSIR UGC NET 2024 result


Candidates will need their application number and date of birth to view and download their scorecards.
Physical scorecards will not be dispatched to candidates by post or email. Here is the step-by-step process to download the results:

  • Visit official CSIR UGC NET website - csirnet.nta.ac.in.
  • On the homepage, select the link labelled "CSIR UGC NET Result 2024."
  • A login page will open, where you need to enter your application number and date of birth.
  • Click on the option "Submit" to view your scorecard.
  • Download and print a copy of the scorecard for future use.

CSIR UGC NET 2024 examination overview


The CSIR UGC NET 2024 examination was conducted across three days: July 25, July 26, and July 27, 2024. On July 25 and 26, the exam was held in two sessions: the first from 9 AM to 12 PM, and the second from 3 PM to 6 PM. On July 27, the exam took place in a single session from 9 AM to 12 PM. The examination was administered at 348 centres across 187 cities.
This year, a total of 2,25,335 candidates registered for the examination, with 1,63,529 candidates appearing for the test.

Important notes for candidates


  • Possession of the scorecard does not guarantee any right to further selection or qualification. The NTA has clarified that mere participation in the exam or securing a score does not ensure qualification for the next stages.

  • Qualified candidates will receive their certificates from the NTA once the final results are announced by CSIR.
