UGC NET Result 2024 Highlights: NTA to release June session final answer keys, results shortly

UGC NET Result 2024 Highlights: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the NTA UGC NET Result 2024 and the UGC NET Final Answer Key 2024 on the official website soon. NTA has already released the provisional answer keys for the UGC NET exams conducted from August 27 to September 4, 2024. The provisional answer keys for the exams held on August 21, 22, and 23, 2024, were released earlier.

Candidates who wish to contest the provisional answers can do so by submitting a non-refundable fee of ₹200 per question. A panel of experts will review the challenges, and if any are deemed valid, the answer keys will be updated accordingly. The UGC NET provisional answer key challenge window has closed, and now the scorecards and cutoff are expected to be issued by the concerned authorities on the official site. The final UGC NET results will be based on the revised answer keys, and candidates will not receive individual notifications regarding their challenges.

For the UGC NET exam, two marks were awarded for each correct answer, with no deductions for incorrect responses. Questions left unanswered, unattempt, or marked for review did not receive any points. In cases where questions were ambiguous or had multiple correct answers, candidates received credit for any correct option. If a question was deemed incorrect and removed from consideration, two marks were awarded to those who had attempted it. As there was no penalty for wrong answers, candidates were encouraged to select the best possible responses.

Once the results are published on the official website, candidates will be able to access them by entering their application number and date of birth.
