If you are someone who enjoys Marvel’s superhero world, here’s a piece of great news for you. The first trailer of Thunderbolts* starring the Marvel misfits has been released and it is all about action, drama, and comedy - a perfect potpourri of comedy.
Thunderbolts* is the 36th MCU film, which is based on Kurt Busiek’s comic series of the same name.

The story revolves around a group of reformed villains, brought together by the US government to carry out covert operations. According to Indie Wire, the official synopsis of the movie reads - “Thunderbolts is about an irreverent team-up featuring depressed assassin Yelena Belova (Pugh) alongside the MCU’s least anticipated band of misfits.”

Directed by Jake Schreier, the movie stars Stan, the Captain America franchise's mainstay, alognwith member from Black Widow - Pugh and David Harbour. While Stan fills in the shoes of Bucky Barnes, Pugh and Harbour potray Yelena Belova and Alexei Shostakov / Red Guardian, respectively. On the other hand, it is being expected that Laurence Fishburne and Rachel Weisz will reprise their respective MCU roles as Bill Foster and Melina Vostokoff.

Further, the fans will get to see Hannah John-Kamen as Ava Starr/ Ghost, Wyatt Russell as John Walker/ US Agent, Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, Lewis Pullman as Bob / Sentry, Geraldine Viswanathan as Mel: de Fontaine's assistant, and Olga Kurylenko as Antonia Dreykov/ Taskmaster.
Last but not least, Harrison Ford is expected to make a guest appearance as Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, the US President.
The movie will hit the theatres in May 2025.
