Actor Ishita Dutta Sheth, who welcomed her first child, a son named Vayu, with husband Vatsal Sheth in June last year, is set to return to work after a two-year break.
During her conversation with Hindustan Times, Ishita Dutta Seth revealed that deciding to return to work was a difficult choice for her. Although she initially planned to resume work after six months, she felt hesitant when the time came to accept a project.
However, she shared that her parents, in-laws, and husband all reassured her by saying they would take care of Vayu. She also mentioned that she and Vatsal plan their schedules around their son.
The 'Drishyam' actress shared that every working woman experiences guilt when returning to work. She explained that the first day of leaving one's child to go back to work is always difficult, regardless of whether it's after six months or two years. She acknowledged that a mother will inevitably feel separation anxiety, and she experienced it as well, but she managed to overcome it.
The actress expressed her happiness about returning to work. She mentioned that she is currently shooting for a film, although she hasn’t revealed much about it. While enjoying her time on set, she admitted to frequently checking the baby monitor to see what her son, Vayu, is doing, as this is the first time she's been away from him for such an extended period.
Ishita shared her plans to bring her son Vayu to the shoot location soon, explaining that they'll see how he adjusts. If everything goes well, he might stay with her until the end of the schedule. She added that while she is eager to return to work full-time, she intends to take a month or two off between projects to spend quality time with him.
