Siddhant Chaturvedi’s solo debut Yudhra is struggling after receiving mixed reviews and modest box office returns. Yudhra Box Office: Siddhant Chaturvedi starrer earns less than a crore on 1st Monday

Siddhant Chaturvedi’s first solo film Yudhra seems to be just about staying afloat after getting hit by mixed to negative reviews and average collections. The actor made his debut with Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy as MC Sher, and went on to do films Bunty Aur Babli 2, Phone Bhoot, and Gehraiyaan.

Yudhra released on the occasion of National Cinema Day, where ticket prices were as low as Rs 99, and took a very good start as it minted Rs 4.5 crore on day 1.
But on Saturday, the film crashed to Rs 1.75 crore with Sunday seeing some spike to collect Rs 2.25 collection, but the film crashed once again on Monday to earn just Rs 75 lakh as per early estimates by Sacnilk. The total collection of the film now stands at Rs 9.25 crore, while the budget of the film is reportedly pegged at Rs 50 crore.
There seems to be very little chance of revival for the film, as this Friday sees release of NTR Jr’s Devara with Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor. The film has already earned more than Rs 5 crore for its opening day in India. On the other hand, Stree 2 still holding on strongly and inching towards beating Jawan’s record.
