Electric vehicle manufacturer Omega Seiki Mobility in a collaboration with Bengaluru-based energy firm Exponent Energy, has launched the Stream City Qik electric three-wheeler. The price for this EV starts from Rs 3.25 lakh, ex-showroom. Interestingly, this EV has the capability to charge from 0-100 percent in just 15 minutes, thanks to Exponent’s rapid charging network which is operational in six cities in India presently.
The OSM Stream City Qik comes equipped with Exponent’s 8.8 kWh battery pack that returns an ARAI certified range of 126 kilometres on a single charge. Furthermore, the model comes with a payload capacity of 533 km and generates 9.5 kW and 430 Nm of peak torque. The top speed of the Stream City Qik is governed at 45 kmph.
Additionally, the manufacturer is offering a warranty of 2 lakh km or 5 years, whichever comes first. With its rapid charging capability, the companies say that the drivers can minimize downtime between rides, significantly boosting their monthly income by up to 30 percent.

To support seamless usage of the OSM Stream City Qik, Exponent Energy plans to deploy 100 charging stations in Delhi-NCR and Bengaluru in 2024, with further expansion planned for Chennai, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, and Hyderabad.
The launch comes at a time when India's passenger three-wheeler segment is experiencing unprecedented growth, with sales expected to reach half a million units in the current fiscal year.
