AHMEDABAD: The Diwali season is expected to be eventful for travellers from Gujarat with additional direct flight options opening up from the city airport. The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International (SVPI) airport operator in Ahmedabad on Monday announced the launch of flights to four destinations – Jaisalmer (Rajasthan), Diu (UT), Port Blair (Andaman & Nicobar), and Agra (Uttar Pradesh).
Each of these flights began from October 29, just after the directorate general of civil aviation (DGCA) brought the Winter Schedule into effect.
