2400 officials to count votes in Tripura
Agartala: Over 2,400 officials have been deployed for the counting of votes in the two parliamentary constituencies of Tripura, with three-tier security put in place, reports Biswendu Bhattacharjee.
The largest counting centre in the state is Umakanta Academy in Agartala, where the counting for 14 assembly segments will be held, said CEO Puneet Agarwal.

“An adequate number of security personnel have been deployed along with micro observers. Cameras have been installed in all the counting halls to ensure transparency,” he added.
Tripura East returning officer Saju Waheed said over 1200 officials have been deployed with adequate security arrangements.
