LoP Jitendra Chaudhury objected to the move stating, “Any such motion required to be discussed with the business advisory committee and leaders of all the parties represented in the assembly, but in this case it was not not done. Moreover, the statement was politically motivated and far from reality.” He was supported by Congress legislators who proposed changing the format, claiming that Narendra Modi’s party did not achieve the magic number.
