Ajmer woman alleges rape in by relative

AJMER: A 37-year-old doctor and a resident of Adarsh Nagar colony on Monday filed a case of rape and making obscene videos against her relative in Kanpur. The relative had called her to Kanpur on the pretext of showing a piece of land. Adarsh Nagar police registered a zero number FIR and sent it to Kanpur. Police said that as the matter is of Kanpur district, the FIR registered in Ajmer has been sent to Kanpur police for further probe.

An NIA team is probing a potential sabotage attempt in Kanpur after a loco pilot stopped the Kalindi Express from hitting an LPG cylinder on the tracks. Petrol bottles and matchboxes were found at the site. Twelve people have been detained, and extensive searches are ongoing to find more evidence.
