Two people arrested in Uttar Pradesh for smuggling fake Indian currency worth Rs 97,500 from Bangladesh via West Bengal. Arrested individuals identified as Chandan Sainik and Deepak Kumar of Pratapgarh district. ATS recovered six smartphones and fake currency along with air tickets from West Bengal.

Five Bangladesh nationals, guide arrested at Agartala railway station
Five Bangladesh nationals and their guide were arrested from Agartala station while trying to board a train. The GRP team detained six persons for suspicious movement and found that five of them were from Bangladesh without valid documents. The guide, Roming Rashid Khan, who has a garment business in Maharashtra, planned to take the Bangladesh nationals as laborers.
