Chandigarh: Chandigarh Heritage Conservation Committee (CHCC) has given an in-principle approval to the construction of covered verandah in front of court room no.1 (Chief Justice court), in the high court. It also gave its nod for providing and establishing separate public toilet/ washroom facilities to transgender persons in the high court premises.
Various requests were also received for making the HC premises barrier free for differently abled persons. tnn
