GHAZIABAD: A disturbing incident took place at a Bikaner sweet shop in Nyay Khand, Indirapuram,
Ghaziabad, when a customer bit into a samosa and made a shocking discovery. To his horror, he found a frog leg inside the samosa.
The customer, visibly upset by the revolting find, confronted the shop owner along with a group of concerned individuals.
The heated exchange was captured on video, which has since gone viral on social media platforms, sparking widespread disgust and calls for action against the establishment.
In the footage, the aggrieved customer can be heard demanding answers from the shop owner, while some of the bystanders insist on contacting the authorities by dialling '100' to report the incident to the police.
An improvement notice has also been served to the Bikaner by the food safety department.
“On a Wednesday evening, I bought four samosas from a shop in Bikaner. When I returned home and began consuming them, I noticed something strange. Upon closer inspection, I discovered a frog's leg inside one of the samosas.
Without delay, I went back to the shop and confronted the staff about the disturbing finding. Unsatisfied with their response, I proceeded to the police station to file a formal complaint regarding the incident.”, said

The food safety department of Ghaziabad has served an improvement notice to Bikaner under section 32 of the food safety and standards act 2006 which is issued when the food business operator has not compiled with food safety regulations.
“Along with serving an improvement notice to the Bikaner we have also taken some food samples which will be sent to the laboratory for the check”, said Narendra Singh, food safety officer, Ghaziabad.
ACP (Indirapuram) Swatantra Singh said that police received a complaint from Aman Sharma resident of Nyay Khand 1, that he found a frog's leg in a Samosa which he purchased from Bikaner sweet.
“We have imposed Bnss challan under sections 126 (Security for keeping peace in other cases) ,135 (Inquiry as to truth of information)and 170 (Arrest to prevent commission of cognizable offences) has been filed against the shop”.
