Woman thrashed by mom-daughter shopkeeper duo
Indore: A woman was allegedly thrashed by a mother-daughter shopkeeper duo in Khajrana temple after a dispute over purchasing offerings.
According to Khajrana police, Tanushree Hingorani, a resident of Goyal Vihar, told that police that she arrived at Khajrana Ganesh Temple at 9 pm on Monday and was purchasing items from Ganesh General Store and Puja Materials in front of the VIP gate.

After a disagreement with Kiran, the shopkeeper, Tanushree put the items back, which led Kiran to start hurling abuses at her. When Tanushree tried to stop her, Kiran hit her, causing her to fall backwards. As Kiran threatened her not to come to the shop again, Kiran's daughter came out and started pulling Tanushree’s hair and assaulting her. Kiran joined in, and both mother and daughter began kicking and punching her, dragging her on the road. Tanushree sustained injuries to neck, throat, face, and hands. Bystanders intervened and later, she went to the police. The police registered a case of assault against the duo.
