7-year-old girl raped by landlord’s son in Bundi
Kota: A seven-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her landlord's 24-year-old son in Bypass Road area under Bundi city police station.
The crime was committed on Wednesday but it came to the knowledge of her parents Thursday night when they noticed the minor in trouble while urinating. The parents, accompanied by the minor survivor, approached the Bundi district Child Welfare Committee Friday morning and narrated the ordeal to its chairperson Seema Poddhar following which she contacted the police.

“Police immediately swung into action and sent the minor for a medical examination while forming teams to nab the accused,” Bundi SP Hanuman Prasad Meena said. The Mahila Thana police registered a rape case under sections of POCSO and BNS against the accused, Meena added.
“The accused fled soon after the girl's parents reached the police station. Separate police teams were sent to suspected locations to trace the accused, who is still at large,” the SP said.
