JAIPUR: The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) on Friday released its seventh list of 20 candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections in the state. The list was released by BSP state president Bhagwan Singh Baba.
So far, the party has announced 45 candidates for the Assembly elections in Rajasthan. BSP has fielded Babu Lal Salvi from Nathdwara against Assembly speaker CP Joshi.
It has announced the names of candidates in its list for seats including Udaipur Rural, Mundawar, Gogunda, Jhadol, Salumbar, Nathdwara, Udaipur rural, Bhim, Kumbhalgarh, Pratapgarh, Aspur, Chorasi, Ghatol, Garhi, Kushalgarh, Marwar Junction, Bhadra, Ladnu, Pokhran, Taranagar and Dhod (SC).
BSP supremo Mayawati had earlier said that her party will take a call on post-poll alliances or joining coalitions in the four states that go to polls this year—Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Telangana— after consultations. The polls for the 200-member Assembly will be held on November 25.
