Jaipur: Mild to moderate rainfall continued at many places in Rajasthan on Thursday. The meteorological department has predicted more rainfall in Jaipur, Kota, Ajmer and Bharatpur divisions in the next 24 hours. The incessant rainfall has halted repairing work of roads in several areas, including Bharatpur, Dholpur and Karauli.
The department said that conditions are favourable for withdrawal of monsoon from the state by Sept 22.
The change in wind direction and nip in the air during early morning and late evening hours indicate the possibility of monsoon withdrawal.
