Jodhpur MLA furious at CMHO, says all medical officers corrupt

Jodhpur: Taking strong exception to the absence of both the chief medical health officer (CMHO) and deputy CMHO from a meeting he held to review disposal of complaints lodged on ‘Sampark’ portal,
City MLA Atul Bhansali on Thursday lambasted medical officials for operation of hookah bars in the city and termed all officials of the CMHO office as corrupt.
“I have observed that these hookah bars have emerged as the source of illegal activitie and also of all types of drugs and addictions,” said Bhansali at the meeting.
Holding the CMHO responsible for the hookah bars’ unbridled operation, Bhansali said the entire office of CMHO is steeped in corruption.
