Jodhpur: A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between leading technology institute MBM University and the Central Wool Development Board (CWDB) to identify and explore the potential of wool in various technological solutions.
This MoU will lead to collaboration between the two institutions in research transcending the conventional application and utility of wool.
While talking about the properties of wool and its various applications, executive director of CWDBM Col.
Gopal Singh Bhati said that it has the quality of absorbing bacteria and contaminants in a room but study on this aspect of wool was in its nascent stage. “Among these properties, wool also has a biofertilising property and thus has a vital significance of research on this aspect,” said Bhandari. Over 3,800 applications for 300 research fellowshipsMore than 3800 candidates have applied for the Mukhya Mantri Research Fellowship Test (MRFT) in Odisha. The test aims to identify exceptional research talents across public universities in the state. Successful candidates will receive a research fellowship of Rs 30,000 per month for four years. The State Selection Board (SSB) under the Odisha State Higher Education Council (OSHEC) will conduct the test. The examination will consist of a single paper with multiple-choice questions in 47 subjects.
