Villagers loot coconuts after truck transporting consignment overturns on Kanpur-Agra highway

Kanpur: A Magic vehicle transporting a consignment of coconuts overturned on the Kanpur-Agra National Highway in Etawah district, dispersing the merchandise across the thoroughfare.
A Magic vehicle laden with coconuts encountered a mishap near the Manikpur turn on the Kanpur-Agra National Highway in the early hours of Tuesday. The incident culminated in the coconuts being strewn across the highway, while the driver and conductor deftly extricated the impaired vehicle from the location.
After the daybreak villagers from the neighbouring areas seeing the coconuts scattered across the road started amassing them.Besides men, even women from the nearby villages accumulated the coconuts after checking them to ascertain which ones were suitable. The incident was chronicled on video, which has since proliferated on various social media platforms, garnering attention to the extraordinary event and the villagers' response to the unforeseen windfall. Traffic was obstructed for some time due to the accident, but was reinstated after police arrived at the spot.
Pertaining to the incident, a press note issued from the Etawah senior superintendent of police office at its official handle `X' affirmed that the Friends Colony police station reached the spot and with the assistance of passers-by, loaded the coconuts in the truck and dispatched it to its destination.
