Teen found dead in juvenile home

Kochi: A 16-year-old boy was found dead at a juvenile home in Kakkanad on Saturday night. The deceased has been identified as Judeson, son of Paulose of Athani.
Police said the teen was found hanging in the bathroom of the facility.
The boy was in the juvenile home in connection with a case registered against him by Kalady police. He was produced in court on Saturday and was brought back to the facility.
According to a local resident, Judeson's father had reportedly gone to visit him, and it appears that the boy went to the bathroom after the visit and took his own life.
The body was handed over to relatives after an autopsy on Sunday.
