13-yr-old rape survivor, her mother attacked
Ludhiana: A 13-year-old rape survivor and her mother, who had been staging a protest demanding action against the two accused in the case, were allegedly attacked by a group of miscreants, including women. The accused allegedly pelted stones and bricks at the protesting mother and daughter on Friday afternoon. The victims apprehended two of the women and handed them over to the police.

They alleged that the accused had orchestrated the attack.
The woman said that her daughter had been raped by four men but police arrested only two. They staged a protest for arrest of the other two accused when the assailants turned up and attacked them. They also pelted stones at them. Onlookers came to their rescue when they raised an alarm and nabbed a few of the accused. Police have arrested two women under preventive measures and will take action against all the accused involved in the affray. tnn
