Khanna police arrests a person for murder of woman with whom he had 'illicit relation'

Bablu Yadav has been arrested by Khanna police for allegedly murdering Satpal Kaur, whose half-naked body was discovered with injuries in Malaud village. Both individuals had previously worked at Jasvir Singh's house and were reportedly involved in an affair, resulting in their recent dismissal from employment.

LUDHIANA: After a dead body of a woman was found in half naked condition at a secluded place in a village in Malaud, Khanna police arrested her alleged lover for her murder. The arrested accused was identified as 45 years old Bablu Yadav of Araria District in Bihar, now living at Siar in Malaud whereas the deceased was identified as Satpal Kaur (45).
The complainant Gulraj Singh of Patti Begampura in Siar of Malaud told cops that the accused lived in the house of Jasvir Singh of Siar for about 30 to 32 years.
He added that Jasvir had thrown him out of his house about three to four months ago.
As per the complainant, on Thursday evening at around 7.15 pm, his wife had gone from home to someone’s house in Lodhi Patti for work and told about it to him. He added that his wife didn’t return till 8.30 pm and to search for her, he also left from home and he called Pargat Singh, Sarpanch of the village, and told him about the whole story and kept searching around for her.
As per a statement, the body of the deceased was found lying in half naked state, with injury marks on the left side of her mouth and it was bleeding.
Police officials said that it came to fore during investigation that the accused and deceased worked at the house of Jasvir Singh and they had affair. They added that after Jasvir came to know about it, he fired them from work.
